Description:
Tenders are invited for Agreement for Management, Operation and Maintenance of Shing Mun Tunnels and Tseung Kwan O Tunnel. The successful tenderer will be required to undertake the following duties: (a) management and operation of the Tunnels, including: (i) management of the Tunnels (including taking enforcement actions under the applicable ordinances and regulations); (ii) collection of approved fees and charges; (iii) control and regulation of traffic; (iv) patrolling and security; (v) handling incidents occurred within the Tunnel Area; (vi) recovery and removal of broken down vehicles; and (vii) cleansing of the Tunnels; (b) operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical equipment and electronic systems of the Tunnels, including: (i) power supply system; (ii) lighting system; (iii) ventilation system; and (iv) traffic control and surveillance system; (c) providing non-structural maintenance and repairing works for the upkeep of the Tunnels; (d) providing landscape services and tree management for the horticulture and vegetation within the Tunnel Area; and (e) selection and appointment of advertising agent(s) for displaying advertisements at approved locations within the Tunnel Area. The duration of the agreements shall be six (6) years commencing on 1 June 2024 or on the date(s) the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall specify by notice.
