Description:
Tenders are invited for Agreement for Management, Operation and Maintenance of Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel. The successful tenderer will be required to undertake the following duties: (a) management and operation of the tunnel, including: (i) collection of approved fees and charges; (ii) control and regulation of traffic and law enforcement under applicable ordinances and regulations; (iii) patrolling and security; and (iv) incident management within the tunnel area including recovery and removal of broken down vehicles; (b) operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical equipment and electronic systems of the tunnel, including: (i) power supply system; (ii) tunnel lighting system; (iii) ventilation system; and (iv) traffic control and surveillance system; (c) providing non-structural maintenance and repairing works, including tunnel cleaning work for the upkeep of the tunnel; and (d) constructing advertising structures and engaging advertising agent(s) for displaying advertisements within the tunnel area, if required. The duration of the agreement shall be three (3) years commencing on a date the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall specify by notice. Closing date/time : 12:00 noon on Friday, 18 February 2022 (Hong Kong time) .
