Description:
Tenders are invited for Automatic Fare Collection System Maintenance Service for 2+2 years A. High-Level Project Requirement 1. The supplier shall provide KMB with second line maintenance and software support services to ensure that the KMB-s Automatic Fare Collection System meets the availability and the reliability requirements, including: a) Repairing defective Octopus devices and depot equipment; b) Replacing defective Octopus device and depot equipment parts if not repairable; c) Conducting investigations into intermittent Faults, interferences and abnormal Failures/behaviours; d) For failed Octopus devices that still contain revenue data, retrieving the data and returning back to KMB and/or LWB in no more than four (4) Business Days with investigation report(s). 2. The supplier shall provide KMB with software support to assist in maintenance and enhancement work for the KMB-s Automatic Fare Collection System, including: a) Providing remote system fault diagnostics; b) Providing troubleshooting of application issues, bugs and suggestions for changes or re-work for Octopus Systems; c) Providing revenue data transaction systems and interfaces support; d) Providing installation and upgrade assistance. 3. The contract term shall be 2+2 years commencing 1/Jun/2022. i.e. Upon completion of the fixed term of the first two years, KMB has the right to extend the contract for the third and forth years. B. Requirement on Tenderer-s Qualifications For this purpose of this project, KMB is looking for supplier(s) with solid experience in provision of Octopus-based Automatic Fare Collection System maintenance service for public transport operators in Hong Kong. Accordingly, interested parties who submit Tender Collection Form to KMB shall present relevant job reference information for KMB-s consideration
