- Tenders are invited for Currently Operating Rehabilitation Services for Persons with Disabilities to Submit Proposal(S) for Operating the Service. Social Welfare Department (SWD) now invites eligible bona-fide non- governmental and non-profit making organisations granted a tax-exemption status under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap.112) currently operating rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities to submit proposal(s) for operating the service project below District Support Centre for Persons with Disabilities Details of the Briefing Session (with Q & A session) are as follows - Date : 26 November 2021 (Friday) Venue : Gymnasium, Lady Trench Training Centre, 44 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Time : 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Registration starts at 9:00 a.m.) Interested organisations shall complete the reply slip for enrolling the briefing session and return the reply slip as appropriate. Each organisation can collect a Compact Disc with the Service Specifications and other annexes of the Service Specifications from the address below during office hours (Monday to Friday 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm) from 17 November to 15 December 2021. Interested organisations should submit the proposal(s) as per the requirements and the prescribed format as stipulated in the Service Specifications and the related annexes by completing the Proposal Form and submit to the following address by hand in a sealed envelope marked CONFIDENTIAL - “Application to operate District Support Centre for Persons with Disabilities” on or before 15 December 2021 (Wednesday) at 5:00 p.m. An acknowledgement receipt will be issued at the time of receiving the proposal(s). Rehabilitation and Medical Social Services Branch (Oi Kwan Road Office) Social Welfare Department Room 118, 1/F, Lady Trench Training Centre, 44 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong [Attn.: Ms CHAN Yee-lee, SS(RM)3] Late submission of proposal(s) or submission of proposal(s) by email / facsimile will not be accepted. In case a black rainstorm signal or the No. 8 tropical cyclone warning signal or above is issued between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the closing date, the closing time for submitting proposal(s) will be automatically extended to 5:00 p.m. on the first ensuing working day (excluding Saturday) without further notice.
