- Tenders are invited for Deployment of Artificial Reefs in South Lantau Marine Park. The works mainly include: - (i) construction of 72 artificial reefs installed with 144 oyster shell cages; (ii) deployment of the artificial reefs and oyster shell cages in the designated waters between Tai A Chau and Siu A Chau; (iii) structural monitoring of artificial reefs for 2 years; (iv) colonization monitoring of artificial reefs for 2 years; (v) monitoring of fisheries resources for 1 year before deployment of artificial reefs and 2 years after deployment of artificial reefs; and (vi) release of fish fry/fingerlings and subsequent monitoring for 1 year after release.
