Description : Airport Authority (the “Authority”) is planning to construct car parking facilities adopting automated parking systems (APS) at the Hong Kong Port (HKP) (formerly known as Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF) Island of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB)) for accommodating cross-boundary inbound private cars which do not possess a valid Hong Kong driving license arriving at the HKP. The automated car parking facilities are planned to be implemented in phases. The package bidding comprises a design-and-build (D&B) contract (Contract C21W21) and a 6-year operation-and-maintenance (O&M) contract (Contract C21M01) for the Automated Car Park B at HKP (Phase 1) which aims to provide approximately 1,000 APS parking spaces for visitors to Hong Kong.Invitations to tender for the package of contracts are expected to be issued in the first Quarter of 2022. The design and construction is required to be completed by the third Quarter of 2024 and the operation and maintenance shall be started immediately after the completion of construction.
