Description : The Airport Authority (the “Authority”) is planning to construct car parking facilities adopting automated parking systems (APS) at the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF) Island of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) for accommodating cross-boundary inbound private cars which do not possess a valid Hong Kong driving license arriving at the Hong Kong Port (HKP). The automated car parking facilities are planned to be implemented in phases. This Contract comprises the Automated Car Park A at HKBCF (Phase 1) which aims to provide approximately 1,600 APS parking spaces and approximately 200 parking spaces for drop-off and pick-up areas, and provide waiting lounges with check-in facilities for inbound private cars arriving at the HZMB HKP and for passengers with flight departures from the Hong Kong International Airport (the “Works”). The Works will be procured under a design and construction contract.Invitations to tender for this contract are expected to be issued in 2nd Quarter of 2021.
