Description:
Tenders are invited for Management, Operation, Installation and Maintenance of the Public Lighting System in Hong Kong Island and Islands (2021-2025) This is a 4-year term contract from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2025. The works mainly comprise the design, management, operation, installation and maintenance of the public lighting system in Hong Kong Island and Islands. The public lighting system generally consists of conventional road lighting, village lighting, gantry sign lighting, roadside directional sign lighting, traffic bollards and the associated network of cables, ducts and peripheral items. Within the designated contract area, there are about 30 000 nos. of road and village lighting points, 900 nos. of lighting installation on illuminated gantry signs and roadside directional signs, and 2 200 nos. of traffic bollards. Sealed tenders, in duplicate, must be clearly marked with the tender reference and the subject of the tender on the outside of the envelope (but should not bear any indication which may relate the tender to the tenderer) addressed to the Chairman, Central Tender Board, and placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box, situated at the Lobby of the Public Entrance on the Ground Floor, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong. Tenders must be deposited in the tender box as specified in this tender notice (“Specified Tender Box”) before the tender closing time. Late tenders and tenders not deposited in the Specified Tender Box will not be accepted.
