Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Provision of Manufacturing Services for Designated Garbage Bags Provide manufacturing services of designated garbage bags (3L, 5L, 10L, 15L, 20L, 35L, 50L, 75L, 100L, 240L and 660L in capacity). 2. Designated garbage bags would be produced with film-grade low density polyethylene (LDPE) as major material and contain at least 50% recycled plastics. Raw materials are to be provided by the contractor. The HKSAR Government may provide a certain quantity of film-grade recycled plastics and the contractor must use all such recycled plastics in the production of designated garbage bags. 3. Designated garbage bags would be produced with three-layer production technology (i.e. 3-layer with the recycled plastics placed in the middle). The manufacturer would also be responsible for the related printing, sealing, cutting, incorporation of hologram and packaging services. 4. Critical steps (i.e. printing, sealing, cutting, incorporation of hologram and packaging) must be conducted in Hong Kong, non-critical steps (i.e. masterbatch production and film blowing) could be conducted outside Hong Kong.
