• Tenders are invited for replace the MCS including the ECS and Power Remote Control (PRC) System The objective of this project is to replace the MCS including the ECS and Power Remote Control (PRC) System in Lantau Airport Railway (LAR) (collective of TCL and AEL) and to replace MCS including PRC System servers and workstations in DRL. The Works will be divided into three packages for tendering: Package A - Replacement of MCS in AT&D (exclude Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for DRL) Replacement of AT&D MCS servers, workstations and LAR MCS PLCs, Serial Link Managers (SLM), network equipment and the associated equipment. The MCS servers and workstations shall interface with existing DRL MCS PLC. Package B - Provision of CPRC in AT&D (exclude PLC for DRL) Segregation of LAR PRC System from MCS with provision of servers, workstations, PLCs, network equipment and the associated equipment and form the CPRC System. The CPRC servers and workstations shall interface with existing DRL MCS PLC. Package C - Provision of CECS in AEL and TCL Segregation of LAR ECS from MCS with replacement of ECS PLC and provision of servers and workstations and form the CECS. The CECS servers and workstations shall interface with existing DRL ECS PLC. Scope of Works The scope of the Works comprises the design, manufacture, supply, delivery to site, installation, testing and commission, training facilities, training, documentation, decommissioning, system cutover, seamless system migration, rectification of defects and performing comprehensive maintenance during the Defects Liability Period as follows: (1) Replacement of MCS servers, workstations, SLM, PLCs, network equipment and the associated equipment. (2) Provision of PRC equipment with software for remote control and monitoring on POW equipment. (3) Segregation of POW equipment-s control and monitoring Input/Output points from the existing MCS terminal blocks. (4) Replacement of ECS PLC and Small Logic Controller, and perform PLC software migration. (5) Provision of MCS, CPRC and CECS servers software in Operations Cloud Platform to be provided by the Corporation. (6) Provision of independent Signalling Gateway server software to relay signalling information to various interface systems. (7) Provision of workstations and monitors. (8) Provision of communication cable connecting to the MCS, CECS and CPRC PLC at dedicated station fibre port to be provided by the Corporation. (9) Provision of interfaces with other systems for data exchange. (10) Provision of Software Development System for future system maintenance and modification.
