Description:
Tenders are invited for Replacement of Sleepers along LRL (Phase 2). 1) Replacement of approximately 2,200 numbers of sleepers along the LRL at different locations. The replacement sleeper materials will be supplied by the Corporation. As the LR is an operating railway, the works are expected to be carried out within a limited Non-Traffic Hours (NTH). The scopes of the Works shall also include site supervision, collection and delivery of the replacement sleepers, removal and disposal of existing sleepers, track measurement, alignment adjustment and correct of defects during the defect correction period. 2) The Contractor shall provide all the resources for the Works including supervision, labour, material, plant and equipment. The Contractor shall apply for Construction Noise Permit (CNP) from Environmental Protection Department, and provide necessary noise abatement materials such as quiet models plant and equipment (e.g. Quality Powered Mechanical Equipment (QPME)), means of silencers, mufflers, acoustic linings or shields, acoustic sheds or screens of sufficient height or other means to mitigate construction noise in compliance with the Noise Control Ordinance are required.
