Description:
Sha Tin Waste Transfer Station Phase III Extension Contract (Works Project No. 5193DR) The contract covers the design and construction of renovation, alteration and upgrading works for the existing Sha Tin Waste Transfer Station located at 2 On Hing Lane, Shek Mun, Sha Tin, New Territories. The objective is to award this contract around mid-2026 to commence the design and construction works and facilitate a smooth handover between the existing and new contracts, ensuring the stable and continuous operation of the Sha Tin Waste Transfer Station. The scope of this contract also includes the operation and maintenance of the Sha Tin Waste Transfer Station and the provision of waste transfer services. The operational period is scheduled to commence on the day following the expiration date of the current Phase II extension contract for the Sha Tin Waste Transfer Station (Contract No.: EP/SP/76/14) (i.e., October 28, 2026) (i.e., October 29, 2026).
