Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Strategic Planning Study on Flood Management against Sea Level Rise and Extreme Rainfall - Feasibility Study This Assignment mainly includes the following services: · develop a comprehensive flood management strategy to address the increase in flood risk brought by increase in extreme sea level and extreme rainfall under climate change involving both structural and non-structural measures with the aim of enhancing the city-s resilience, and prioritize the drainage/coastal basins of Hong Kong for developing Drainage Master Plans under separate study; · review current design parameters, standard and methodology, propose updates to the Stormwater Drainage Manual, and stocktake adverse effects on drainage system of existing facilities/ on-going projects; · conduct sensitivity test of drainage system under extraordinary extreme rainstorms and storm surge events and review the current practices of emergency preparedness; and · Conduct scoping exercise and cost-benefit analysis for mega-infrastructure. Submission of EOI Consultants in Group 3 under the Service Category of Drainage and Sewerage (DS) maintained by EACSB are invited to express interest in undertaking the above consultancy.
