• Tenders are invited for Supply of Ambient Monitoring Equipment to the Environmental Protection Department: Automated Air Samplers for Identifying Voc and Oxygenated Voc and Real-Time Formaldehyde Analyzers The Contractor is to supply five (5) sets of Automated Air Samplers for Identifying VOC and Oxygenated VOC and/or three (3) sets of Real-Time Formaldehyde Analyzers using Spectroscopic Method and/or two (2) sets of Real-Time Formaldehyde Analyzers using Fluorimetric Method Collection of Tender Document (Time & Place) : Tender Document can be obtained from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Saturday and Public Holiday) at Supplies Section of Environmental Protection Department at 5/F., Chinachem Exchange Square, 1 Hoi Wan Street, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong [Tel. No. (852) 2963 9472/2963 9460; Fax No. (852) 2856 5587]. Collector of Tender Document please provide a company name card for record. Tender Closing Time : 12:00 noon on Thursday, 24 February 2022 Submission of Tender : Tender and all accompanying documents must be submitted in triplicate (one original and two copies) and enclosed in a sealed plain envelope which must bear no indication that may relate the tender to the tenderer. The envelope should be marked “Tender for Supply of Ambient Monitoring Equipment to the Environmental Protection Department: Automated Air Samplers for Identifying VOC and Oxygenated VOC and Real-Time Formaldehyde Analyzers (Tender Ref. AS21038)”, addressed to “The Chairman, Tender Opening Committee, Government Logistics Department” and deposited in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box (“Specified Tender Box”) on the Ground Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong before 12:00 noon (Hong Kong Time) on 24 Feb 2022. Late tender and tender not deposited in the Specified Tender Box will not be accepted. In the event that tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above; or black rainstorm warning signal; or “extreme conditions after super typhoon” announced by the Government is/are in force at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on 24 Feb 2022, the tender closing time will be postponed to 12:00 noon on the first working day after no tropical cyclone signal No. 8 or above is in force or the black rainstorm signal or “extreme conditions after super typhoon” announced by the Government has ceased to be in effect. In case public access to the location of the Government Logistics Department Tender Box is blocked at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on 24 Feb 2022, the Government will announce the tender closing time will be extended until further notice.
