• Description:
• Expression of Interest are invited for Supply and Installation of Electric Beds for Prince of Wales Hospital (“Pwh”) New Territories East Cluster (“Ntec”) Hospital Authority (“Ha”). 1.1 The Beds, Electric shall be designed to accommodate patient for observation, treatment and critical care with sideturning, X-Ray cassette holder and C-arm accessibility. (M) 1.2 The backrest shall be radio translucent to allow mobile X-ray unit or a C-arm unit can be use whilst patient still in the bed. (M) 1.3 All individual parts of the patient surface, height adjustment, longitudinal and lateral tilt shall be adjustable by electric actuators. Functionally equivalent design for the offered system to perform lateral tilting is acceptable. (M) 2. Performance 2.1 Overall Length : 2,200 mm ±10%. (M) 2.2 Overall Width : 1,100 mm or less (M) 2.3 Height Adjustment : 480 mm to 750 mm or wider range (M) 2.4 Side-turning : +/- 30o or wider range (M) 2.5 Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg : ±12º or wider range (M) 2.6 Safe Working Load : at least 245 Kg (M) 3. Construction 3.1 The backrest and the seat section shall be made of radio translucent material enabling examination of the patient using a C-arm from the pelvic area up to the head. (M) All Expression of Interest in Triplicate, with 1 electronic copy on CD-ROM, in a sealed envelope marked “Invitation for Expression of Interest for the Supply and Installation of Beds, Electric for Prince of Wales Hospital, New Territories East Cluster, Hospital Authority (EOI ref.: NTEC/P&MM/T7/2122-Q067 EOI)” must be deposited into the Tender Box situated at the following address on or before 12:00 noon on 27 September 2021 (Hong Kong Time). Late submission may not be accepted or considered.
