Description:
Tenders are invited for Supply and Installation of Electrosurgical Units, Monopolar/Biopolar for Kwong Wah Hospital. Kowloon Central Cluster. Hospital Authority 2.1 The electrosurgical generator shall be designed to produce radio frequency (RF) current for cutting and coagulation to be delivered to target tissue through an accessory electrode during open and laparoscopic surgical procedures. 2.2 Front Panel 2.2.1 The front panel control shall be designed as a full-functioning, easy to use electrosurgical unit for cutting and coagulating tissue. 2.2.2 The Power on/off switch shall be located on the front panel with an illuminated indicator when the generator is being switched on. 2.2.3 The Recall button shall be provided as a convenience to users to recall the last mode and the last power setting used after the system is turned on and when the recall button is pushed. 2.2.4 A large numerical display shall indicate the power setting on Monopolar Cut (CUT), Monopolar Coagulation (COAG) and BIOPOLAR mode. 2.2.5 Two Monopolar hand switching receptacles shall be available to accept standard three-prong active accessory devices. 2.2.6 At least one monopolar foot switching accessory receptacles shall be available. Power shall be delivered to this receptacle when the monopolar footswitch is attached to the appropriate receptacle on the back of the generator and is depressed by the operator. 2.2.7 Bipolar Receptacle shall be available to accept either a foot switching accessory or a hand switching accessory. 2.2.8 Patient Return Electrode Receptacle shall be available to accept both a single plate, split plate disposable return electrode and reusable patient return electrode
